HOUSE OF HOLLAND

style.com

NYFW has jsut passed and LFW is currently upon us...i've spent the last week excitedly checking style.com every night for updates. Collections come through almost instantaneously which is something I really admire about the concept of online communications my generation has been blessed with - although I am considerably isolated geographically, through the use of the world wide web I am constanly connected with the rest of the world. Anywho...out of all the amazing collections shown Henry Holland's House of Holland particularly stood out to me. Multicoloured crochet knit EVERYTHING. I mean, do I really have to explain?...sometimes i think we share the same brain. I've been trawling Perth's opshops constantly on the lookout for an old lady's dicarded crochet blanket to turn into a poncho no one else but me would appreciate. The only thing that would have improved this collection is a pair of crochet bell bottoms, maybe in a finer knit? Still absolutely amazing stuff! I would also recommend you check out the Fall collections from The Row, Jenni Kayne, Christian Siraiano, Steven Alan, Nahm, Michael Angel, Mandy Coon and Kimberly Ovitz if you haven't already. I've found a carbon copy of the leopard print loafers used in The Row's collection on Ebay. These are from Newport News but you can purchase the exact shoes they used from TOMS for less than $150 I hear!

that dress is gorgeous, and I'm not normally a fan of patterned crochet.
